INSTRUCTIONS FOR DROP-OFFS WITH REALPLAYER 10
You may hear some drop-offs during the live stream in RealPlayer 10. To fix the problem try this:

For Windows:
1. Open up Preferences from the Tools menu
2. Click the Connection-->Network Transport Category
3. Click in the checkbox next to "manually configure network settings"
4. Click on the RTSP settings button and uncheck "Use UDP for all content." Click OK.
5. Click on the PNA settings button and uncheck "Use UDP for all content." Click OK.
6. Make sure that "Use specific UDP Ports" is left unchecked. Click OK.

For Mac OS X:
1. Open up Preferences from the RealPlayer menu
2. Click the Transport tab
3. Click in the checkbox next to "Use manually configured RTSP and PNA transport settings"
4. Click on the Configure button and uncheck the boxes next to UDP for both the RTSP and PNA columns. Click OK.
5. Make sure that "Use specific UDP Ports" is left unchecked. Click OK.

You're done! Retry the connection. It should be much smoother now.
